基于软件无线电模块的IEEE802.11a接收机同步单元实验设计

Experimental Design of Synchronization Unit for IEEE802.11a Receiver Based on Software Defined Radio Module

  • 摘要: 针对新工科建设对大学生实践能力培养的要求,在通信原理实验教学中,提出基于软件无线电模块的IEEE802.11a接收机正交频分复用(orthogonal frequency division multiplexing, OFDM)同步算法教学实验。给出帧同步、符号同步和频率同步的实验原理。在Matlab开发环境下,进行OFDM同步单元程序设计,软件无线电模块PLUTO配置。从而,利用PLUTO完成通带信号收发,并进行同步单元功能验证。学生通过该实验,能更好的掌握通信原理有关同步的理论知识,并得到工程实践能力的提升。

     

    Abstract: In response to the requirements of the “new engineering” discipline construction for the cultivation of college students’ practical abilities, a teaching experiment on orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) synchronization algorithm in an IEEE 802.11a receiver is proposed for the communication principle experimental teaching. The principles of the frame synchronization, symbol synchronization, and frequency synchronization are presented. Both of the program design of the synchronization unit, and the configuration of the software defined radio module PLUTO are implemented by using Matlab development environment. Thus, the passband signal can be emitted and received through the PLUTO, and the functions of the synchronization unit can be verified. Through this experiment, students can better grasp the theoretical knowledge of synchronization related to communication principle and improve their engineering practical abilities.
