Abstract:
Large-scale instruments are an important support for universities to conduct scientific research and explore cutting-edge technologies. However, due to their expensive prices, high operating and maintenance costs, strong operational expertise, and relatively small inventory, their role in undergraduate education is very limited. This article introduces the measures taken by the School of Physics of Shandong University in undergraduate education based on large-scale instruments, such as offering online and offline instrument courses, conducting scientific research training, setting up assistant management positions, and assisting in subject competitions. It also analyzes and explores how to enhance the supporting role of large-scale instruments in undergraduate education and talent cultivation, providing reference for other universities.
