Construction and Teaching Practice of a Virtual Simulation System for Temporomandibular Disorders

  • 摘要: 该文旨在构建颞下颌关节紊乱病虚拟仿真教学系统,并探讨其在口腔颌面外科实验教学中的应用效果。研究采集颞下颌关节患者的锥形束CT和核磁共振成像数据,利用Unity平台和Visual Studio开发虚拟仿真系统。系统包括关节紊乱病典型模型、关节灌洗术、知识考核三大模块。通过问卷调查及理论考核结果表明,虚拟仿真教学系统能够提高学生对颞下颌关节紊乱病实验教学的学习兴趣和积极性,提升理论知识学习效果,培养学生的临床思维和操作技能,为口腔颌面外科实验教学改革提供技术支撑。

     

    Abstract: This study aims to construct a virtual simulation teaching system for temporomandibular joint disorders (TMD) and explore its application effect in the experimental teaching of oral and maxillofacial surgery. Cone-beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) data from TMD patients were collected and the virtual simulation system was developed using the Unity platform and Visual Studio. The system consists of three major modules: typical models of joint disorders, joint lavage procedures, and knowledge assessments. Results of questionnaire surveys and theoretical examinations indicate that the virtual simulation teaching system can improve students’ learning interest and initiative in TMD experimental teaching, enhance the effectiveness of theoretical knowledge learning, and promote the cultivation of clinical thinking and operational skills, providing innovative technical support for experimental teaching in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
