Abstract:
Geography field practice is a crucial component of geography education, playing a significant role in cultivating students’ practical abilities and overall competencies. Addressing the limitations of traditional geography fieldwork, such as high costs, limited time, and the lack of glacial geographical environments, this paper proposes an integrated virtual-real field practice teaching model for geography. This model combines virtual reality technology with on-site investigations, constructing a virtual geographical environment that allows students to engage in geographical activities. By doing so, it aims to enhance students’ practical and innovative capabilities, as well as to improve the effectiveness of field practice in geography education.
