Abstract: Animal laboratory is an indispensable part of the development of life science research and the application of experimental animals. With the advent of the “5G” era, smart laboratories have become an important direction for laboratory construction in universities, and the barrier environment of animal rooms also needs to apply the intelligent construction of laboratories to management practices. This article takes the Animal Model Center of West China School of Stomatology, Sichuan University as an example to explore the construction plan of intelligent management system for barrier environment of animal rooms, the application of Internet of Things and Internet in management, and the advantages of building smart laboratories, providing a reference for the construction of smart laboratories.
