Development of a Laser Experimental Platform using Fiber Gratings

  • 摘要: 实践能力与创新思维的培养是高等工程教育的关键要素。设计与开发专业课程相关的实验平台,不仅能够激发学生的学习积极性,还能深化他们对专业知识的理解。本文设计了一种基于长周期光纤光栅的超快激光器实验平台,从基本元器件制备切入,并以其为核心器件构建了孤子锁模脉冲光纤激光器。该平台涵盖器件设计与制备、超快激光器系统搭建、激光输出特性测试与分析等环节,实验内容丰富,引导学生从器件到系统、循序渐进地掌握复杂光学系统的设计、优化与分析过程,提升学生的专业知识运用能力与创新思维。

     

    Abstract: The cultivation of practical abilities and innovative thinking is a key element of higher engineering education. Designing and developing experimental platforms related to courses not only stimulates learning motivation of students but also deepens their understanding of professional knowledge. This paper presents an experimental platform for ultrafast lasers based on long-period fiber gratings, starting from the preparation of basic components and using them as core devices to construct a soliton mode-locked fiber laser. The platform encompasses various stages, including device design and fabrication, ultrafast laser system construction, and testing and analysis of laser output characteristics. The experimental guides students to progressively master the design, optimization, and analysis of complex optical systems, enhancing their ability to apply professional knowledge and foster innovative thinking.
