Abstract:
With the rapid development and wide application of medical imaging technology, the demand for ultrasound diagnostic talents with professional skills in the medical industry shows an increasing trend. However, traditional ultrasound teaching is faced with problems such as the disconnection between theory and practice, and the shortage of training equipment, which urgently needs to innovate teaching mode. This paper designs and implements an ultrasound virtual teaching system based on the Unreal Engine, aiming to provide an immersive simulation learning environment. The system adopts a C/S architecture, the front-end uses the Unreal Engine for 3D visualization, physical simulation, and human-computer interaction design, and the back-end uses MySQL to store user data. The system has set up five modules: basic principles, imaging process, equipment classification, image quality evaluation, and assessment, covering all aspects of ultrasound knowledge. The system combines advanced virtual reality technology with ultrasound teaching, restores the real diagnostic scene, demonstrates the ultrasound imaging process through 3D animation, provides an immersive learning experience, and helps cultivate students’ clinical thinking and practical skills, injecting new vitality into the training of medical imaging talents.
