Abstract:
Based on the concept of emerging engineering education and targeting the relevant content in the Electric Motors and Drives course, this study constructs an experimental platform centered on Huichuan PLC and variable-frequency drive, and designs a comprehensive experiment on variable frequency speed regulation of three-phase asynchronous motors. With this experimental platform, students can establish a simulation model of the speed control system using MATLAB/Simulink software, and perform display screen configuration and interactive programming to monitor key motor parameters in real time, thereby achieving precise speed control and rapid motor protection. Teaching practice demonstrates that students use this platform for theoretical exploration, digital simulation, configuration programming, and experimental improvement, which can not only cultivate their comprehensive abilities and higher-order thinking to solve complex problems, but also enhance their confidence in tackling challenges and strengthen their engineering practice skills.
