Abstract: University is the main base of cultivating innovative talents. Experimental teaching is necessary and important for the innovation education in the university. A number of experimental courses about the training of Electronic Design Contest were offered as the common optional courses by the Electrical and Electronic Experimental Teaching Center in Guangdong University of Technology since 2011. A new platform has been built to cultivate the innovative talents. In this paper, we proposed how to implement the teaching, including the arrangement, the contents and the features about these courses. And the teaching effects were evaluated.
