Abstract: With the rapidly developing information technology today, the digital video surveillance system has been widely promoted and applied as the most important information system of security and business assistant. Through the introduction of application situation about digital video surveillance system on Chengdu to Dujiangyan railway (including its system structure, network structure, system function and users report, etc.), this paper probes into the application and development prospects about digital video surveillance technology and significance on railway or other industries.
