Simulation Study of the Efficiency for Cuk Converter

  • 摘要: DC-DC变换电路被广泛研究与应用,尤其在新能源变流应用时,更需要控制方式简单及高效率运行。Cuk电路结构易于实现双向应用且具有功率密度高、纹波率较低的特点。通过Matlab的仿真研究,说明了L×C参量对于Cuk电路运行稳定、高效区间(fs,D)确定,即对工作频率、效率、纹波率、输出电压及输出功率等进行设计与调节的简洁有效性;提出了负载变化时高效率保持恒L×C值的有效调节方法。总之,Cuk电路效率仿真研究对于DC-DC变换电路高效控制方法的选择及应用有参照意义。

     

    Abstract: While Cuk DC-DC converter is widely researched and applied, especially as new energy converter, it‘s more and more urgent to improve the efficiency with simple control method. The Cuk symmetry circuit structure is easy to achieve bidirectional converter with higher power density and low ripple rate. By the simulation with Matlab/Simulink, this paper presents L×C characteristic of the Cuk circuit with which the circuit‘s effective and stable operating range of(fs,D)can be achieved and its efficiency, operating frequency, output voltage, ripple rate and output power can be designed and regulated effectively and concisely. Then, one presents an effective modulation method of the converter with a constant L×C values as the load changing up or down, and so higher efficiency can be kept. All this is a reference to the DC-DC converter efficiency control scheme choice in practical application.
