Abstract: In order to motivate the enthusiasm of the students in the course of polymer physics experiment and broaden students‘ knowledge, improve the utilization rate of large-scale instruments, the practice of large-scale instruments in polymer physics experiment is explored. This paper introduced the basic situation of large-scale instrument in the department of polymer materials and engineering, and enumerated the instances of large-scale equipment used for polymer physics experiment teaching, described the promoting role of large-scale instruments in the process of teaching experiment. Results show that the application of large-scale equipment in polymer physics experiment teaching greatly improves the students‘ interest in experiment, exercise the students‘ practical ability, maximum limit increased the utilization rate of large-scale equipment.
