Abstract: Based on the survey result of teaching quality,the problems in teaching target,teaching mode,and teaching method of traditional teaching of professional basic experiment were summarized and analyzed.It is proposed to solve these problems by establishing double-leveled teaching target,adopting the teaching mode of “expanding teaching before and after class”,and teaching in class by methods of introduction,stimulating thinking,case analysis,guidance and exchange.The teaching reform and experience was applied on the professional basic experiments of professional course of Drilling Engineering.As a result,the students’ learning enthusiasm and learning interest are greatly raised and motivated.The teaching quality is significantly improved.
