Abstract: The metalworking practice was carried out based on the five modules in the engineering training center of Chongqing University.Due to the shortage of teachers,the grinding which belong to the module of milling,grinding and special processing,or is it to demonstrate type of work in practice,or in a state of absence.Based on the definition,characteristics and application scope of grinding as the starting point,this paper discusses the grindings status in the parts processing.It shows that the grinding is an important means of precision machining in the actual manufacture.Some suggestions are put forward about how to better carry out of grinding internship in the metalworking practice.
