Abstract: Electromagnetic launching weapon (ELW) is a hot research area presently, and then the construction of electromagnetic launching laboratory is the key point for the research of ELW. This paper introduced the function of electromagnetic launching laboratory and analyzed the constituent elements such as pulse power source, measurement and control system, launching experiment instrument and the safeguard devices of the electromagnetic launching laboratory based on the constitution of ELW. At last, we built the laboratory in general arrangement, which provided a reference for the construction of electromagnetic launching laboratory.
