Abstract: Practical teaching is the important link in the course of training the innovative talents.Single chip microcomputer (SCM) course is a very practical professional basic course for students majoring in professional engineering institutions of higher learning.In order to improve the students’ practical ability and enhance their innovation consciousness, we carried out the reform of experiment and practical teaching, including the optimization of teaching content, improvement of teaching mode and method, and improvement of examination method.Then, we propose a step-by-step practical teaching pattern of foundation-advance-practice.
