激光原理与技术课程研究性教学实践探索

Research-Oriented Teaching Practice in the Course Principles and Techniques of Lasers

  • 摘要: 针对激光原理与技术课程中原理复杂、公式繁多的教学难点,采用以数值仿真计算分析物理过程的研究性教学方法,以课程中自由振荡激光器输出特性及调Q输出特性两个重要知识点为例,阐述了采用龙格库塔方法进行数值求解分析问题的思路。教学实践结果表明,采用仿真计算方法对原理复杂的物理过程进行辅助分析,不仅可提高学生对知识点的掌握深度,培养主动思考的能力,还可以更紧密地结合工程实际,激发学生的学习兴趣。

     

    Abstract: The course principles and techniques of lasers are difficult to comprehend because of the profound theory and formulae.The output characteristics of the free-oscillating laser and the Q-switching laser were numerically calculated by Runge-Kutta method, which were presented as the examples in research-oriented teaching practice of this course.The results show that it will increase the understanding of the hard parts of this course, cultivate researching abilities, as well as inspire the studying interest of the students, by simulation of the physics process in this teaching practice.
