Abstract: By using open source software of Maxima, the limit, calculus, ordinary differential equations, and series of higher mathematics are demonstrated by visualization. Using Maxima software, the interface can present abstract mathematical concepts, complex calculations with an intuitive and visual way. It can help make an stimulate students’ learning interests and deepen the understanding of knowledge to improve the teaching effect.
