Abstract: Engineering professionalism are major innovation strategy for regular institutions of higher learning, which focus more on the skilled professionals cultivation than the talent researchers.First,the traditional teaching mode is discussed and doubted,then the new roles and challenges are confronted with those provincial-owned college specialized on IT or communication.Taking NUPT as an illustration,there are more deficiency on specialty courses,when fostering the requirements of modern enterprises and operators,the computer communication network course has developed a brand-new SPD course teaching mode,which is derived from the earlier CIDO mode,the SPD mode contains three core bodies: main subjects are selected carefully,project management is optimized,details make a big difference.All these practice and efforts play a role in the construction of engineering professionalism,which deserves widely praised.
