Abstract: According to the characteristics of training application-oriented,this paper analyzed and summarized disadvantages of “mechanical design course design” in this school.Aiming at the students lack of practical experience,mechanical drawing less training,difficult drawing in structure design,this paper introduces a graphical icons teaching method.This method has a certain interpretation and indexing function.It motivates students more easily understand the design contents and design methods,and makes students better complete the curriculum design of machinery design.Meawhile,the quality of teaching can be improved.It also provided reference for the reform of innovative talent of mechanics in local universities.
