Abstract: Aiming at the current situation of experiment teaching of mechanics of materials in independent colleges, this paper carried out a series of reform and practice from several aspeots.These include:tranformation of teaching concept, reform of teaching contents, improvement of teaching equipmerts and perfect of experiment examination.Finally,one explored a experiment teaching method got good teaching effect.
