牛顿环实验中空气薄层的折射效应

The Refraction Effect of Thin Air Layer in the Newton‘s Rings Experiment

  • 摘要: 牛顿环实验是大学物理实验中的一个经典实验。实验中相干的两束反射光由于空气薄层的折射效应并不在同一条直线上,二者与空气薄层的上表面交点之间有一水平差距。实验中,经计算该差距的最大值为0.30 mm,最大相对偏差为1.6。这一相对较小的偏差是实验原理描述中忽略空气薄层折射效应的缘由。

     

    Abstract: Newton's rings experiment is one of the classic experiment in college physics experiments. The interference light is the two beams of the reflected light and they are not on the same line due to the refraction effect of the thin air layer. The intersection points between them and the top surface of the thin air layer are different. The maximum distance of the x coordinates between the two points is 0.30 mm and the maximum relative deviation is 1.6. It is the smaller deviation that makes the refraction effect of the thin air layer be ignored.
