Abstract: The Department of Post and Telecommunication is the central nervous system of the national economy.The development of post and telecommunication industry is influenced by many complex factors.This paper analyzes the factors from five perspectives,that is,mobile communications,population,transportation,people's living standards and foreign trade and establishes a multiple linear regression analysisi model.Eviews 6.0 is used to test the model for time series stability and co-integration test,which has obtained significant influence on the devlelopment of China's post and telecommunications industry.The results show that the number of mobile telephone subscribers at the year-end,the total population,highway mileage and resident's consumption level and total foreign trade are the five factors that have a significant impact on the development of post and telecommunication industry in China.Based on the results,this paper puts forward opinions and suggestions favorable for the development of post and telecommunication industry.
