Design and Implementation of P-persistent CSMA Based on FPGA

  • 摘要: 为提高无线网络的通信效率,减少能量消耗,运用MAC协议中的载波监听多路访问技术可提高通信系统的吞吐量、减少节点的平均功率。根据无线网络中各节点的工作特点,通过现场可编程门阵列(FPGA)为P-坚持CSMA协议接入的通信系统提供一种实现方案。实验结果中统计值与理论值一致,证实了该设计的正确性与可实现性,能够有效地提高传输效率,减少能耗,可应用到无线通信网络领域。

     

    Abstract: In order to improve the communication efficiency of wireless network and reduce the energy consumption,the carrier monitoring access technology in MAC protocol can increase the throughput of communication system and reduce the average power of nodes.According to the working characteristics of each node in the wireless network,a field programmable gate array(FPGA)provides an implementation solution for the P-persistent CSMA protocol-based communication system.The experimental results are consistent with the theoretical values,which prove that the correctness and realizability of the design.It can effectively improve the transmission efficiency and reduce the energy consumption.It can be applied to the wireless communication network.
