Abstract:
This article illustrates the current chemical management model in universities. This model has been running for many years for the timely and orderly management of chemicals needed for teaching and scientific research. The shortcoming is that chemical wastes are much wasted in use, lack of supervision on wastes, and many hidden dangers for chemicals to pollute the environment.Green chemistry requires “to prevent chemical pollution from the source”.For this reason,a green chemical management model based on green chemistry theory is proposed. The new model includes:workflow, team management, improvement of information management systems and strengthening of waste management.Highlight inventory reduction, improve chemical utilization, and pay attention to the reuse and disposal of waste. The new management model has been paid for the practice, and with preliminary results to prove its feasibility and necessity.
