Teaching Innovation and Exploration of Melting Point Experiment

  • 摘要: 熔点测定是经典有机化学实验之一,是化学等相关专业必须掌握的基础实验技能。改进后的熔点测定既传承经典的毛细管测试法,又引入先进的测试仪器,充分利用实验室资源,培养学生基础实验技能,为后续实验奠定基础;采用探索性的实验教学方法,研究了二苯胺和萘二元混合物的熔点-摩尔组成关系,培养了学生基本的科研能力,拓展了学生视野。

     

    Abstract: Melting point determination is one of the classic organic chemistry experiments, and it is the basic experimental skill that must be mastered in chemisty and related majors. The improved melting point measurement not only inherits the traditional capillary testing method, but also introduces advanced instrument testing technology, making full use of laboratory resources to cultivate students'basic experimental skills, and lays a foundation for subsequent experiments. Adopting exploratory experimental teaching methods, the melting point-molar composition relationship of binary mixture of diphenylamine and maphthalene was studied, which trained students’ basic scientific research ability and broadened their horizons.
