Design of Hollow Half Axle of FSAE Racing Car

  • 摘要: FSAE赛车作为一辆需参加动态赛的竞速赛车,采用轻量化设计可以有效优化动态性能,半轴作为传动系统的组成部分,采用轻量化设计不仅可以起到减轻整车车重的作用,同时还可以提高传动系统工作效率。该文以FSAE赛车半轴设计为研究对象,通过计算发动机动力输出校核半轴强度,结合理论公式及设计经验,设计一种以4130无缝钢管为主体的空心半轴,并进行扭转实验,实验结果及赛场实际表现表明,该空心半轴性能满足设计要求,同时成本分析表明该空心半轴具有较高性价比,可以取代传统的实心半轴。

     

    Abstract: As a racing car that needs to participate in a dynamic race, the FSAE is a lightweight design that optimizes dynamic performance. As part of the transmission system, the lightweight design of half-shaft can not only reduce the weight of the vehicle, but also improve the efficiency of the transmission system. In this paper, the FSAE racing half-shaft design is taken as the research object. By calculating the engine power output check half-shaft strength, combined with the theoretical formula and design experience, a hollow half-shaft with 4130 seamless steel tube as the main body is designed and the torsion experiment is carried out. The experimental results and the actual performance of the field show that the hollow half-shaft performance meets the design requirements, and the cost analysis shows that the hollow half-shaft has a high cost performance and can replace the traditional solid half-shaft.
