Abstract:
Genetics is an important basic course for life science majors in colleges and universities. And genetics experiment is an important part of genetics teaching. To cultivate innovative students by improving the quality of genetics experimental teaching, after years of exploration and practice, genetics teachers from Northwest A&F University has optimized the genetics experimental teaching content and mode, perfected assessment methods, proposed the experimental teaching mode of “three stages, five modules, four paradigm” suitable for agronomy majors, and systematically summarized the construction and core of this experimental teaching mode. The teaching mode has shown strong advantages in teaching and achieved outstanding results in improving the comprehensive quality of students and cultivating excellent life science talents. This paper provides a reference for experimental teaching reform of genetics or other similar courses by summarizing the teaching mode.
