Abstract:
To solve the increasing problem of water pollution, based on the cutting-edge research in the photocatalytic degradation of organic compounds, this paper designs a cross disciplinary comprehensive experiment on the efficient removal of organic pollutants by nanocomposite membranes based on the synergistic effect of adsorption and photocatalysis. Polymer p (MMA-AA) with carboxylate groups was experimentally synthesized and composite with PES and TiO
2 to form a flat membrane. In an environment without light, relying solely on the adsorption of membranes has a lower efficiency in removing pollutants. Under the action of light, carboxylate groups continuously adsorb Rhodamine B through electrostatic adsorption, and are simultaneously degraded by TiO
2 through photocatalysis, achieving rapid removal of pollutants.
